ANNUAL LA WALK FOR FREEDOM RAISES AWARENESS OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING IN LOS ANGELES AND AROUND THE WORLD: Spark Hope and Promote Healing for Human Trafficking Awareness Month
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Jan. 2, 2024) — Southern California Partners for Global Justice (SCPGJ) extends a warm invitation to the community for the 2024 Annual LA Walk for Freedom to End Human Trafficking on January 13, 2024, at 9 AM. With over 15 years of impactful history, this community-driven event focuses on raising awareness and combating human trafficking. Join us as community leaders, activists, and concerned citizens unite to advocate for public health and human rights approaches in ending human trafficking.
The 2024 event commences at Blessed Sacrament Hollywood with a short program featuring inspiring words from Aquilina George (Survivor Leadership Program Coordinator at Cast), youth advocate voices, and a call to action. Participants take steps to spark hope and promote healing for those impacted by human trafficking while marching and chanting for 1.5 miles around the surrounding sidewalks in Hollywood. Participants encouraged to wear blue, make signs, and bring non-perishable food to donate to the Blessed Sacrament Food Pantry.

- Route: The approximately 1.5 mile walk takes place on the sidewalks of Hollywood, beginning and ending at Blessed Sacrament.
