In May, we had our annual Southern California Benefit Dinner– but this year there was an added bonus. Through a collaboration with our friends at We Step Into the Light, we were able to display 12 original pieces of art work, created as gifts for the girls at My Refuge House!

The professional artists who took part in the project got to know the girls at My Refuge House over skype and email, and then took what they had learned about them, and created spectacular pieces. Currently these paintings are on a boat on their way to Cebu, Philippines to be given as gifts to the girls!

Please take a few minutes and see the highlights from the event here. More photos can also be found in our facebook photo album.

For full images of each art piece, as well as the story of each girl they were created for, download the PDF here: TheGiftsThatOfferAGlimpsePDF

Thanks again to everyone who celebrated restoration with us on this day! It was a truly remarkable event.
